Pegasus set to switch to Airbus

Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines is moving to favour Airbus A320neo planes instead of a mix of Airbus and Boeing metal.
Owned by Istanbul-based private equity firm Esas Holding, Pegasus soon will start selling its older Boeing 737 jets.

its ceo Mehmet Nane said the plan was eventually to have 100-plus aircraft.

It wants five A320neos this year, two more than originally planned, as the first step.

It is understood the terrorism-driven downturn in Turkey's tourism is helping to drive the change to the fuel-efficient neo.
