WA threatens A$50,000 fines

The Western Australian government has threatened to fine passengers up to A$50,000 for not wearing masks inside and outside the state's airport terminals.
The rule also applies to anyone in a vehicle picking someone up.

The fine can rise to $250,000 for 'bodies corporate'.

“Early evidence shows this super-fast spreading UK variant of Covid-19 is 70 per cent more infectious than other strains,” said WA premier Mark McGowan.
