Qantas will run 20 international B787 'repatriation flights' from the United Kingdom, Europe, India and 'other places' in February and March to bring home Australians still overseas.
The flights have been arranged with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and will be underwritten by Australia's federal government.
Ticket prices have yet to be advised.
As well as tickets, passengers will be required to pay for a 14-day quarantine - which at Howard Springs is currently set at $2,500 per person and $5,000 for families of two or more.
Travellers will be offered government loans if needed.
