Saga says customers will need both vaccine doses

Saga Holidays, which caters mostly to British people over the age of 50 and also organises tours and all-inclusive holidays, says all customers will need to have had both Covid-19 jabs at least 14 days before any departure (assuming it is able to restart operations in May 2021 as planned).
Saga said its crew, most of whom are younger, will not need to be vaccinated before working on board.

Meanwhile, the UK has now vaccinated more than five million citizens with the first of two doses of one of three vaccines.

It also is under pressure by gps to vaccinate according to manufacturers' recommendations instead of leaving a 12-week gap between doses.

The UK death toll from Covid is expected to hit 100,000 this week.
