Easyjet to focus on legacy carrier routes

UK-based easyJet says it will focus its post-coronavirus competitive efforts on major European legacy carriers' routes.
Ceo Johan Lundgren told the FT its biggest market overlap is with "companies such as Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Tui and British Airways".

Legacy carriers tend to focus on business travel and feeder flights for their long-haul hub operations.

Both those market segments are expected to be among the slower-to-recover air market segments.
