USA plane maker Boeing says it is going to outsource most of its IT infrastructure to Dell in a six-year deal overseen by chief information officer Susan Doniz, who joined the company last year from Australia's Qantas.

By the end of the transfer process, Boeing says about 600 of its workers will be affected.
