Virgin Australia is boosting Easter holiday capacity from April 11, with 33 return services per week from Brisbane and Cairns, 55 between Sydney and the Gold Coast and 26 between Melbourne and Hobart.

The new B737 services will cost from A$129 one way and will add more than 13,000 seats across 37 return flights. 

 

Virgin last week said it will sell tickets between Sydney and Melbourne for A$49, matching rival Rex on the route.
