Adelaide again bids for ‘Space’ congress

Adelaide, Australia has confirmed its bid to again host the 2024 International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
Damien Kitto, ceo, Adelaide Convention Bureau (ACB) said the IAC was one of the world’s most-prestigious business events and was a natural fit for Adelaide as the national centre of Australia’s space sector, being home to the Australian Space Agency, high calibre research and development and space company growth.
The South Australian capital last hosted the event in 2017.
