ACCC blocks Air Canada plan

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has blocked the proposed Air Canada-Air New Zealand co-operation agreement on the Sydney-Vancouver route saying it feared such a deal would reduce competition between Air New Zealand's indirect flights between Australia and Canada and Air Canada's daily services between Sydney and Vancouver.
