While the debate goes on, many firms say one way around objections is for employees to volunteer for a passport product (that would carry a digital record of the holder's Covid-19 vaccine status).

 

Many countries already require evidence of a negative Covid test before they allow entry, and about a dozen digital passport ideas already are on offer or under trial.
