Australian start-up airline Wilbur Air - a Skyportz company - says it plans to operate up to 100 five-passenger 'Integrity' eVTOL aircraft from Spain's Crisalion Mobility.
From February 24 next year, Virgin Australia is cutting its B737-8 route between Cairns, Australia and Tokyo, Japan.
It has blamed the slow recovery of the Japanese outbound travel market for the change.
Australia's Qantas is discounting flights to more than 60 domestic destinations, with one million-plus seats on sale until 25 July 2024 for travel between August 2024 and March 2025.
