Three months after a Dutch court convicted two Russian former state security officers and a Ukrainian separatist leader of murder in the case of downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, prosecutors now say although they don't have enough proof to prosecute, it is likely Russian president Vladimir Putin approved the decision to supply long-range anti-aircraft missiles systems to pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine before the B777 jet was downed in July 2014, killing all 298 passengers and crew.

Intrepid Travel has launched an emergency appeal and committed AUD100,000 through the Intrepid Foundation, to support immediate relief, aid, and rescue efforts in Türkiye and Syria following the devastating earthquake.
