The USA's United Airlines is boosting its regional fleet with 18 Bombardier CRJ-700s purchased from Mesa Airlines for about US$50 million.
Former Sri Lankan cargo carrier ExpoAir has changed its name to Fits Air and moved to low-cost passenger operations, flying three dry-leased Airbus A320-200 aircraft on routes from Colombo to Dubai, Male in the Maldives and Trichy in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
