The financial and emotional devastation caused by scams every year in Australia could be reduced if government, consumer groups and the private sector  worked together to make Australia a much harder target for scammers, said Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) chair Gina Cass-Gottlieb in an address to the Law Council of Australia.

European airline easyJet has added a raft of initiatives to help customers flying this northern summer, including a new dedicated customer hotline for young families travelling abroad. 
The new helpline has been launched for families with children under 12 years old and will enable them to get through directly to dedicated customer service team members, who have expertise in assisting families.
