Crown Perth wins Employer of the Year

Australia’s Crown Perth Resort has been awarded 'Employer of the Year' in the Commerce and Hospitality Division of the Polytechnic West Training Awards at Bentley Campus, Western Australia.

Executive general manager of Human Resources Damir Kucan accepted the award on behalf of Crown Perth, acknowledging the growth in apprenticeships and traineeships that has occurred at the resort over the past 12 months.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this accolade - it acknowledges our commitment to training across the business. In the last year, the number of employees engaged in accredited training has grown from 395 to 884,” said Kucan.

Crown Perth also sponsored two awards at the event – the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year won by Taylor Jane Bellotti, and Apprentice of the Year Emma Bain, who also took home the Geof Gale Medal.
