Better July European hotel results

The European hotel industry saw positive results across the three key performance metrics in July 2015, according to STR Global.  
Compared to July 2014, there was a 5.1 per cent increase in occupancy at 77.3 per cent, an eight per cent increase in average daily rate (ADR) to  EUR117.70 and a 13.5 per cent increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR) to EUR90.93.

Individual country figures included: Austria with a 4.7 per cent increase in occupancy to 77 per cent as well as double-digit growth in ADR (+13.5 per cent to EUR93.20) and RevPAR (+18.8 per cent to EUR71.79); Germany saw a 3.2 per cent increase in occupancy to 72.9 per cent, a 5.2 per cent rise in

ADR to EUR90.24 and an 8.6 per cent increase in RevPAR to EUR65.74; Germany saw occupancy (+9.7 per cent to 83 per cent), ADR (+5.9 per cent to EUR82.61) and RevPAR (+16.2 per cent to EUR68.57); Spain saw a 5.2 per cent increase in occupancy to 66.6 per cent, a 14.2 per cent rise in ADR to EUR86.89 and a 20.2 per cent increase in RevPAR to EUR57.90; France saw occupancy (+2.4 per cent to 86.9 per cent), ADR (+9.4 per cent to EUR274.60) and RevPAR (+12 per cent to EUR238.68).
