Turkey's Turkish Airlines has launched direct daily flights between its Istanbul base and Cape Town, South Africa, adding to its 276 destinations in 110 countries.
The airline’s Africa network already includes 43 destinations - and an Istanbul-Johannesburg-Durban route will follow from November this year.
