SIA seeks all of Tiger - and a delisting

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has offered to pay S$453 million for the shares it doesn’t already own in Tiger Airways, saying it wants to enhance operations across the group’s network. The carrier owns 55.8 per cent of Tiger Airways and is seeking to delist it because it made losses in five of the past six quarters, attempting to expand in a very competitive market.
