AV Alliance membership akin to accreditation

Adelaide-based Novatech Creative Event Technology has joined the AV Alliance, a global network of event equipment rental companies.  Membership of this alliance is by invitation only and calls for regular, wide-ranging inspections which equate to a sort of quality accreditation.

Novatech is one of Australia’s key suppliers of entertainment and event technologies.

It offers integrated sound, video and lighting systems, 3D pre-visualisation, video production and content design.

Well known in the MICE sector, the company confirmed its status by providing a much-praised audio-visual presentation during a gala dinner at the Adelaide Oval during the recent highly successful Destination South Australia travelmart and destination famils.

Devised by a team led by Steven Kennedy, Novatech’s project and sales manager, this featured a number of the Adelaide Convention Bureau team and others in the SA industry.

Kennedy said it was a great way of illustrating the emphasis Novatech puts on collaborating with clients, venues and other service suppliers to deliver tailored presentations.

Membership of the AV Alliance is likely to boost Novatech’s business, given its widely accepted status and high demands.

“Joining the AV Alliance isn’t just a great opportunity for Novatech to be recognised as a leader in our field,” said Dior Yarwood, the company’s director of business operations.

“It’s also great for the Australian production industry, and it’s fantastic for South Australia. It allows us to collaborate with some of the world’s leading production companies, sharing ideas and resources.

“Most importantly it gives our clients the confidence and strength to take their event anywhere in the world and receive the same quality and service they deserve.”

Yarwood and other Novatech representatives accompanied Destination South Australia PCOs and other trade buyers on post-travelmart famils, earning praise for their support.
