The USA's Frontier Airlines' chief operating officer Bill Meehan has stepped down and has been replaced temporarily by Jim Nides, the company's vice president Flight Operations.


Meehan left less than two weeks after Deborah Price, Frontier's vice president of Customer Experience.


Both departures reportedly were due to personal reasons unrelated to complaints about widespread cancellations and flight delays at the airline.
