Melbourne suffered fog-related delays on Monday

Australia’s Melbourne Airport has resumed normal operations after flight arrivals and departures were disrupted by early morning fog Monday morning.

A spokesperson for the airport said the fog has cleared, but rolling delays of around 20 minutes still were delaying some flights.

Melbourne Airport is the second-busiest airport in Australia, facilitating more than 4,500 flights a week and ensuring the safe passage of 2.2 million customers each month. As a critical service and 24/7 operation, it has around 20,000 direct employees working at any time.
