Washington joins BestCities 

Washington, DC, USA has joined the BestCities Global Alliance, the 13th destination in its global network of business events destinations. 

 

Doctor Edward Koh, chair of the BestCities Global Alliance Board said: "Home to many event centres, including the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, the capital is a connected axis where planners can access industry leaders and experts for speakers and expand the footprint of their event by using unique and celebrated exciting, famous spaces within walking distance of the 2.3 million-square-foot Walter E. Washington Convention Center. 

"Delegates to Washington, DC enjoy iconic attractions, an impressive offering of restaurants, including 24 Michelin-starred establishments, and a variety of hotels, many of which feature historic and memorable meeting spaces and waterfront views of the city. In addition to distinctive locations, the nation's capital is home to over 33,000 hotel rooms."
