China's longest holiday of the year - the eight-day Golden Week holiday that combines the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holiday from October 1 - is set to drive business, according to Trip.com, which says historic data show international and domestic bookings both will increase by large margins.

This Golden Week will be the first long holiday since the resumption of international travel.

Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Sri Lanka, Kenya and other countries are experiencing the highest increase in group tour orders, joining holiday favourites that include Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the USA.
