UK hikes passport fees

The cost of a new or renewed UK passport has risen to GBP88.50 for an adult on-line application and from GBP53.50 to GBP57.50 for children, again on line.

For those using a paper form sent in by post, the increase rises from GBP93 to GBP100 for an adult passport and from GBP64 to GBP69 for a child.
