JFK's new T1 using Airside 4.0 tech

The latest Airside 4.0 technology is being used in the New Terminal One at the US's New York JFK Airport, a new international terminal being built in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's US$19 billion transformation of JFK Airport. 

 
The first phase of the New Terminal One, including the arrivals and departures halls and the first 14 gates, is scheduled to open in June 2026. 
 
The builder of the terminal, Safegate, is to deliver the latest technology, which includes a comprehensive apron management and tower system. 
 
The systems combine 12 separate products and services, including apron management software, advanced visual docking guidance systems, a ramp services management system (RSMS), intelligent lead-in and roadway guard lighting and a virtual apron control room, offering one of the most integrated airport apron operations in the US.
