Load factor was 82.0 per cent.

International demand rose 18.9 per cent compared to March 2023, while capacity was up 18.8 per cent and load factor improved to 81.6 per cent. 

Domestic demand rose 6.6 per cent, capacity was up 3.4 per cent and load factor was 82.6 per cent. 

All regions showed strong growth for international passenger markets, though load factor fell year-on-year in three of the six regions.

Asia-Pacific airlines continued to lead with a 38.5 per cent year-on-year increase in demand. 

European carriers saw an 11.6 per cent year-on-year increase, Middle Eastern airlines saw a 10.8 per cent year-on-year increase, North American carriers reported a 14.5 per cent boost, Latin American airlines said theirs was 19.7 per cent better and African airlines saw an 8.1 per cent improvement.
