UK carrier British Airways' cabin crew have "overwhelmingly rejected an offer" that would have ended a long-running row over pay and conditions.

Union Unite said there had been an 81 per cent rejection of the proposals offered by the airline.

Unite will have to give a week's notice of any new planned strikes.
