MEA launches 20/21 Mentor program

Meetings Events Australia has launched its 2020/2021 MEA Mentor program.

The national program will bring together event professionals to connect, share and assist in the development of skills, expertise and career progression.  Mentees are ‘matched’ with industry representatives to provide valuable advice and learning opportunities over the six-month program.

This year MEA has added an on-line platform to increase the level of interaction and tracking for the participants. 

Robyn Johnson, chief executive  of MEA said:  "It is an experience that certainly enhances career progression and development.  With the challenges our industry currently faces, the value of the program and the support it will bring will be heightened as we nurture and develop our leaders of the future.”

Mentees must be MEA members to participate in the program, which will run from October 2020 to March 2021.
Event professionals interested in participating as a mentee or mentor should email  admin@mea.org.au for further information.
