The UK's London Heathrow Airport has been named Europe's most stressful airport, with 34,000 pieces of luggage mislaid in a year according to on-line language platform Preply, which analysed data from 25 of Europe’s biggest airports to find which offered the worst passenger experience.

EuroControl Aviation Intelligence reports Week 21 of 2024 (20-26 May) saw steady increases heading into the northern summer. Traffic was up five per cent compared to last year and flights to/from several states, notably Greece, Türkiye and Italy, were well above pre-pandemic levels.
