Embraer inks big SkyWest deal
Brazilian plane maker Embraer has sold 40, 76-seat E175 passenger jets to US airline SkyWest.
Another 60 planes are subject to SkyWest winning contracts with major US airline partners and there also are options for another 100 E175s.
The E175s, nearly 150 of which are currently in service, have a 2,000-nautical-mile range and can operate on short runways.
