Embleton takes top BA Cargo role
Lynne Embleton, currently British Airways' managing director at London Gatwick Airport, is to become chief executive of IAG Cargo with immediate effect.
She will also join the IAG management committee, reporting directly to chief executive Willie Walsh.
Embleton will replace Drew Crawley, who becomes chief executive of Avios, the Group’s loyalty program. Crawley will remain a member of the IAG Management Committee, also directly reporting to Walsh.
Embleton has more than 25 years of experience across the Group, heading up strategy at British Airways before the Gatwick role.
She has been on the IAG Cargo board as a non-executive director for over four years.
