K+N links to Air France KLM Martinair
Logistics major Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) is creating a system-to-system connection with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo via an API.
It is claimed to be the first time an airfreight carrier and a global logistics provider have created a direct system-to-system connection that delivers a digital automated solution.
The rollout will start in Europe and South Asia Pacific, with customers able to access both companies' digital offerings, including ad-hoc quotations, capacity availability inquiries, dynamic pricing and real-time e-booking functionalities.
Over time, K+N wants to offer a 'seamless digital customer journey' which it calls eTouch.
