Embraer and NAC partner for P2Fs

Embraer and leasing firm Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) have signed a contract for up to 10 conversion slots for the E190F/E195F, with deliveries to start in 2024 and the planes to come from NAC's fleet.


The E-jet freighters will have more volume/capacity, three times the range of large cargo turboprops and up to 30 per cent lower operating costs than narrowbodies, according to NAC. 

The conversion includes a main deck front cargo door, a cargo handling system, floor reinforcement.a smoke detection system and more.

Combined, the under-floor bulk cargo and main deck will offer a maximum gross structural payload of 13,150kg for the E190F and 14,300kg for the E195F.
