'Some' pilot error to blame for AF447 crash?

US-based media say data collected from the so-called 'black boxes' from Air France Flight 447 - which crashed into the Atlantic two years ago - indicate a possible level of pilot error. The investigation to date has implicated speed-sensor pitot tubes, which may have fallen victim to icing at 35,000 feet.

But reports now claim while the pitots caused sensor malfunctions, the cockpit displays may have functioned normally.

They claim that while the crew was working hard on problems, they may have missed some essential information on the displays.
