Geodis wins sustainability award

Logistics company Geodis has picked up the top award for Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence at the Supply Chain Resilience & Sustainability Awards 2024 held in Shanghai, China. 


Winners are determined by the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Board of directors.

In compliance with the Paris Agreement, Geodis has committed to a 42 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from its fleet and buildings and 30 per cent in the carbon intensity of subcontracted transport by 2030, taking 2022 as the baseline year. On May 30th, 2024, in addition, in the Asia Pacific region, its road network offers sustainable transport between Southeast Asia and China. 

To ensure global standards in end-to-end supply chain resilience, the company has attained TAPA FSR certifications in 33 sites globally in 2023, compared to 19 sites in 2021.
