Camilo Garcia Cervera (pictured right) has been appointed chief sales and marketing officer for IAG Cargo.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the air cargo industry and rejoins the business after four years at WebCargo by Freightos.
In his new role he will shape IAG Cargo’s sales and marketing strategies, lead the business’s partnerships, while working closely with John Cheetham, chief commercial officer, who will continue to focus on commercial strategy and product, in addition to leading on customer experience.
SATS completes WFS takeover

SATS has completed its acquisition of global air cargo logistics provider Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) for EUR1.3 billion from an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, representing an enterprise value of EUR2,250 million as previously announced. With effect from completion, WFS becomes a fully owned subsidiary of SATS, which is headquartered in Singapore.

Supply chain logistics company Agility reported full-year 2022 earnings of KD 68 million, an increase of 180.7% over the same period in 2021, excluding results from its Global Integrated Logistics (GIL) unit, which was sold in 2021. Agility’s EBITDA increased 65.7 per cent to KD 180.5 million and revenue grew 77.6 per cent to KD 863.4 million.
