With Malaysia-based AirAsia X rationalising its services to better reflect core markets – including the introduction of daily services between Sydney, Australia and its Kuala Lumpur HQ from April 1 – and the airline’s regional counterparts strengthening services, it is perhaps not surprising that the airline has indicated an enthusiasm for closer alignment with ASEAN.
