Further to last week's AirCargo freight cartel article on BAX Global, a total of six international freight forwarders now have agreed to plead guilty and to pay criminal fines totalling US$50.27 million in the USA.

The UAE's Dubai Airports says freight volumes at Dubai International and the new Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International will grow by 48 per cent over the next five years and cargo tonnage, which totalled 1.9 million in 2009, will exceed three million tonnes by the end of 2015.  In 2010 alone, volumes are expected to rise 12.2 per cent, the company said.

The UAE's Dubai Airports says freight volumes at Dubai International and the new Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International will grow by 48 per cent over the next five years and cargo tonnage, which totalled 1.9 million in 2009, will exceed three million tonnes by the end of 2015.  In 2010 alone, volumes are expected to rise 12.2 per cent, the company said.
