The US Department of Transportation says it is set to okay the application for antitrust immunity by oneworld alliance members American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and other carriers to co-ordinate schedules and share revenue on transatlantic flights - but only if the venture will make four pairs of takeoff and landing slots available to competitors for new services between the US and London's Heathrow Airport.
