Gebrüder Weiss adds hydrogen truck to Switzerland fleet

Gebrüder Weiss has added a hydrogen truck to one of its fleets of vehicles.
Instead of using diesel, the Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell model operating at the Altenrhein branch in Switzerland runs on what is called green hydrogen, meaning it can save around 80 tons of CO2 emissions per year.

Alaska Cargo and Cold Storage (ACCS) and the State of Alaska have signed a 55-year lease agreement at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), marking a major milestone in the development of a more than 700,000-square-foot, (65,032 sq.mtr) climate-controlled warehouse.
With 32.5 million cubic feet (920297.5 cubic mtr) capacity, the facility will provide ANC with a critical piece of infrastructure at the world’s sixth-busiest cargo airport.
155 aircraft swapped seats for cargo last year

The U-Freight Group has changed some management at its headquarters in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
After 25 years with the company, Robert Rens, 44, has been promoted from operations manager to operations director and will take responsibility for work undertaken by current managing director Netherlands Cas Scheij, who has reached official retirement age but will remain in post on a part-time basis.
