The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has calculated more than 8,000 B747 freighter journeys will be needed to transport enough Covid-19 vaccine to inoculate everyone on the planet and has called it "the mission of the century for the global air cargo industry".

Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has purchased an Airbus A330-200 freighter from Doha-based Qatar Airways, saying that when it's not carrying out work for the state, the jet will be leased to low-cost Hungarian carrier Wizz Air to carry commercial cargo.

Imperial has expanded its Werne, Germany warehouse capacity by 30 per cent by leasing an adjacent unit.
The additional space brings the total under-cover storage area to almost 30,000 sqm.
The extra warehousing will be part-racked for pallets, while some new floor space will be left open for handling and storing of outsize goods.
