Mosqueira (pictured right) succeeds Christoph Cyranek, who took over the position from Markus Schneefuss on an interim basis in August 2023.
Mosqueira has more than 20 years of experience in the operational management of companies in the air cargo and supply chain industry which includes working for Latam Airlines in various functions (Mexico, Central America and USA) and for Qatar Airways as manager cargo network operation based in Doha.
Most recently, he worked for Amazon where he was involved in the launch of Amazon Air in Europe.

Red Sea terror fears help drive air cargo demand

As major ocean freight providers quit the Red Sea due to terrorism fears, data provider Xeneta says air cargo demand increased by nine per cent year-on-year in December and spot rates reached their highest level in nine months of US$2.60 per kg and the dynamic load factor increased by three per cent to 59 per cent.
