Qantas freighter sports new livery

QFFQantas Freight has started the new year with new livery on its B767-300 freighter.

Customers in Sydney, Auckland, Christchurch, Hong Kong and Cairns will be the first to see the new-look freighter, sporting Qantas Freight’s latest logo and the distinctive Qantas kangaroo tail.

move AC-SteveGunning-2013Steve Gunning has joined the International Airlines Group (IAG) Management Committee as chief executive, IAG Cargo.  

Gunning has spent the past two years integrating the British Airways and Iberia cargo divisions into a single business.  
Prior to this, he was managing director for BA World Cargo. Gunning began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and worked in the UK and the USA.

The Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO) has levied fines of CHF11 million on 11 air cargo carriers for anti-trust behaviour, while whistleblower Deutsche Lufthansa has escaped without penalty and British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Japan Airlines, Air France-KLM and Cargolux all submitted leniency applications and received reduced penalties.
