My Freighter adds a 747F
Uzbekistan's My Freighter has acquired a Boeing 747F, its first.
The logistics airline plans to build a new Silk Road through Uzbekistan, enabling trade between China/ southeast Asia and Europe.
My Freighter ceo Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov said: "When we established My Freighter in 2019, we set a goal: To turn Uzbekistan into a centre for international cargo transportation."
The 747 joins a B767 freighter - and five more B747 freighters are to be added in the next few months.
These acquisitions are a part of the airline's plan to build a fleet of 20 freighter aircraft within the next five years.
E-commerce and shifts in global supply chains are central to the plans.
