More passengers as easyJet reveals six-month figures

UK-based budget carrier easyJet reported revenue of GBP3.27 billion in the six months to end March, up 22 per cent on the prior year as passenger numbers rose 11 per cent to 36.7 million.
Its revenue per seat (RPS) was GBP69.87 and load factor close to 87 per cent.
The pre-tax loss of GBP350 million was GBP61 million less than a year ago.
