JAL inks IndiGo code share

Japan Airlines (JAL) has inked a code-share agreement with India's IndiGo to start in October, covering flights from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Delhi and from Narita Airport to Bengaluru. 


The domestic India routes on offer have not yet been announced.

IndiGo offers more than 2,000 daily flights to more than 80 destinations in India and more than 30 international cities.

It held a 60.5 per cent share of passengers on domestic routes in 2023, far ahead of Air India at 9.7 per cent share and Vistara at 9.1 per cent.
