Qantas backing Boeing

Major airline customers including Australia's Qantas say Boeing will bounce back from the quality problems that have hit its management as well as production of some of the best-selling planes in history.

"Aviation needs a strong Boeing," Qantas ceo Vanessa Hudson told reporters at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) summit in Dubai.

Hudson said that after talks with the plane maker, she was confident its focus was on addressing quality and it would "get on top of it".
