TSA adds Air NZ to PreCheck program

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is expanding its TSA PreCheck program with the addition of Air New Zealand, Aer Lingus, Ethiopian Airlines and Saudia, taking total airline membership to nearly 100.
TSA PreCheck enables fast-track screening for low-risk travellers at more than 200 US state and territory airports and the international airport in Nassau, Bahamas. 
 
Travellers who are US citizens, US nationals or US permanent residents may apply for TSA PreCheck. 
 
Once approved, they receive a unique 'Known Traveler' number that is added to airline reservations.
