Heathrow Express enhances train service

The UK’s London Heathrow Express train service to Terminal 4 has been improved.

The GBP1 million project included refurbishing the train with new livery and an interior refresh.
Richard Robinson, Heathrow Express managing director said: "We now offer our passengers a premium brand train service that serves all Heathrow Terminals in less than 23 minutes. By introducing a set timetable synchronised with the existing Heathrow Express services, and reducing the platform changes required at Heathrow Central Terminals 1 and 3, passenger journey and wait times will be reduced by over 25 per cent.

The Heathrow Express service from Paddington to Terminals 1, 3 and 5 will remain unchanged, taking only 15 minutes to Heathrow Central and a further six minutes to Terminal 5.

The new service will take 23 minutes to Terminal 4 from London Paddington.
