Neurosurgeons choose Brighton

VisitBrighton has won its bid to host the 6th International World Federation of Skull Base Societies Congress in 2012.

The conference will see 750 delegates from across the globe convene for the four day event, bringing an estimated GBP1 million worth of economic benefit to the city during their stay.


Being held at the newly refurbished Hilton Metropole from 15 – 19 May 2012, the World Federation of Skull Base Societies meets only once every four years.


Speaking of the win, Darren Johnson, Convention Bureau sales manager VisitBrighton said:  “A win such as this further cements our city’s growing reputation as a destination of choice for international business tourism.
